Start by deciding what you are primarily going to do on the operating system: is it for Gaming? Then some optimised distributions include the Arch-based CachyOS or the Fedora-based Nobara. Is your purpose casual use? Then go for Ubuntu. There are plenty of resources in the internet to help you choose after you have decided this.
